Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
This website, theshoppilot.com (the "Site"), is operated by The Shop Pilot ("we", "us" or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information We Collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and the Site does not contain forms that ask for your name, email address or payment details. We collect information automatically when you visit, including:
- Device and browser information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, screen size and language settings.
- Usage information such as the pages you view, the time and date of your visit, the page or ad that referred you, and the links you click.
- Advertising and campaign information such as click identifiers and campaign parameters attached to the link you used to reach the Site (for example, from a Facebook or Instagram ad).
- Approximate location derived from your IP address (country, region or city level).
2. Cookies, Pixels and Tracking Technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, scripts and similar technologies to collect the information above. These include:
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) – helps us measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising, understand actions taken on the Site, and show relevant ads to people who have visited the Site. Meta may combine this information with other information it holds about you under its own Privacy Policy.
- Campaign tracking (ClickFlare) – records visits and clicks and attaches a click identifier to outbound links so we can attribute visits and purchases to the correct campaign.
- Hosting and delivery (Cloudflare) – our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the Site securely and protect it from abuse.
- Web fonts (Google Fonts) – fonts are loaded from Google servers, which receive your IP address and browser information when the page loads.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect how the Site works, and blocking cookies does not necessarily block every tracking technology.
3. How We Use Information
- To operate, maintain and improve the Site;
- To measure and optimize our advertising campaigns;
- To attribute visits and purchases so that we can receive affiliate commissions;
- To show you relevant advertising on third-party platforms, including Facebook and Instagram;
- To detect and prevent fraud, invalid traffic and security incidents;
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Websites
The Site contains affiliate links. When you click a link on the Site, you are taken to a website operated by a third party, such as a product seller or its payment processor. We do not sell products, process payments or receive your payment details. Any information you provide on a third-party website is governed by that website's own privacy policy, and we are not responsible for its practices. We may receive information from our affiliate partners confirming that a click resulted in a sale, so that we can be paid a commission.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:
- With service providers and advertising partners described in Section 2, who process it to provide their services to us;
- With affiliate networks and merchants, to track referrals and commissions;
- When required by law, court order or government request, or to protect our rights, users or the public;
- In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.
Our use of the Meta Pixel for targeted advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some U.S. state privacy laws. See Section 7 for how to opt out.
6. Your Advertising Choices
- Adjust your Facebook and Instagram ad settings at facebook.com/adpreferences.
- Opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info (U.S.), optout.networkadvertising.org or youronlinechoices.eu (Europe).
- Use your browser's privacy settings or a browser that supports the Global Privacy Control signal.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and request a copy of it;
- Request that we correct or delete your personal information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, or of targeted advertising;
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
These rights include those under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and other U.S. state privacy laws, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act. To exercise any of these rights, email us at shibacoupon@gmail.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may need to verify your request before acting on it. Because we do not collect names or email addresses on the Site, we may be unable to link some technical data to you.
Legal basis (EEA/UK visitors): we process information based on our legitimate interests in operating and promoting the Site and, where required by law, on your consent to cookies and similar technologies.
8. Data Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including campaign measurement, commission reconciliation, and legal, tax and accounting requirements. Third-party partners retain data under their own retention policies.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Transfers
We are based in Taiwan, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. These countries may have data protection laws different from those where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
11. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
